Adult Practice Group
Continue your practice of technique and fitness, each week, under your coach’s guidance.
We will continue to teach you how to practice in a way that appropriately develops both your technique and fitness. Each swimmer is guided in how to customize each practice activity to fit their own needs and skill level.
Enjoy practicing with other friendly, welcoming adults who share the same values for swimming, who want to improve performance and health in a mature and principled way.

We are sad to announce that Turtles Yoga in Beaverton has closed as of March 1, so we are no longer using that pool for our lessons.
We are working urgently on find a new pool location in the Portland Metro area. Contact us if you have any questions or you have a contact at a pool you believe to be suitable for our kind of services.
We are continuing to offer full swim services in Salem at five location of the Courthouse Club Fitness network, with openings 7 days a week, 14 hours a day. If it works for you to drive down to Salem, we are glad to work with you there, until we have a new location in Portland.
Anyone who has gone through a series of lessons with one of our Mediterra coaches is welcome.
These practice sessions will help you continue your personal development of stroke skills as well as improve your fitness for your goals. Whether you are swimming for pleasure, fitness, or performance, you will be welcome and guided appropriate to your needs.

This group is suitable for those who have taken a series of lessons with Mediterra. It is intended for those who have studied with one of our coaches and are now familiar with the skills, drills, and terminology that is used extensively in the practice group sessions. Adult swimmers – male and female, younger and older, slower and faster, fit and getting in shape – are warmly welcomed.
We are pleased to gently work with those who may feel strong fear or anxiety in the water. We recommend that you start first with a private lesson or with our Pool Comfort course to experience our method for removing that stress from your water experience.
