I am posting this message to test that you are receiving these it automatically through your email subscription to my Smooth Strokes blog. I used a tool to migrate all of your emails to this CMS and now I want to test that you are receiving it.
So, are you reading this????
For the past month I have been working hard to set up the new Mediterra website which now houses both the blog and a new online coaching service for alumni TI students. This should make it much easier for me to inter-connect the services and resources we provide through Mediterra and easier for you to find them.
I am guessing you have signed up for the blog specifically because you value the content that stays focused on technique and training. And I think some of you notice and appreciate that I don’t use the blog to sell you stuff. I don’t like that and so I don’t want to do that to you either. It’s about teaching and I stick to that. I truly write all this stuff on the blog out of the pleasure (the deep drive, actually) to keep sharing and practicing how to communicate these things better. It is convenient for both of us that I love to write. You get free (and hopefully, valuable) insights, and I get more practice, and better, I get your occasional comments and feedback to help me improve more.
And did you know, I know I don’t know it all and I don’t have a problem admitting it. So, please send me an email or leave a comment when you have a question or a constructive debate on one of the topics. It is the discussion of these ideas between opposing viewpoints that will help us all get a better grasp on good and worthy ideas about swimming.
I do earn my living from teaching swimming and virtually all of that comes from people who wish to travel far to come to our events, or bring me to their location. So I do need to make known the live training and online opportunities for those who want them. I intend to keep the blog focused on teaching, and the newsletter focused on making training opportunities in your region (both mine and general TI opportunities among the TI colleagues I collaborate with).
If you would like to keep informed of these events and opportunities I invite you to sign up for Mediterra’s Newsletters at this link or at the bottom of any of the pages on our new website. We intend to keep those announcement fresh and relevant also. And of course, you can control your subscription to it.
If you have any questions, comments or feedback for me on this blog – like, what do you wish I would write about more – please send me an email any time.
Warm swimming regards,
~ Coach Mat
