For Participating in Mediterra’s Training Events

The Intent Of Our Terms

It is our intention to function as a humane business. We are concerned with your well-being, the well-being of our coaches and staff, the owners and staff of the facilities that hosts us, and of the people and places we are interconnected with to provide this service to you.

Our terms and decisions take into account the web of people and businesses that are affected by our activities and handling of money.

We maintain an attitude of goodwill toward you and we ask that you offer that to us, especially in the case of there being a problem or misunderstanding. We want to be able to talk and reason through situations and come to an amicable solution. We want to do business with kindness, in a manner that earns your trust, and we want to trust you to not take advantage of that kindness.

Services Rendered In Full

In private and group lessons, once the coach and student is present and the lesson begins we consider services ‘rendered in full’ for that lesson.

We have set aside the time, prepared and have started to provide a service of imparting information, encouragement and skillful guidance in the learning process. Once you begin a live lesson, receiving the attention of your coach, we consider this as services rendered and your payment has been received in compensation for this. There are no refunds for a lesson experience once you have started to receive the teaching, the time and the attention of the coach.

Copyright 2009 to 2020 by Mediterra International, LLC.   This website, the Mediterra Dojo, and the content of our online, text, and live training events contain the proprietary information of Mediterra International, LLC.   No part of this website, the Mediterra Dojo, or the content of our online, text, and live training events may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, printing, recording, or by any information storage and retrieval system, without permission in writing from Mediterra International, LLC.

Pool Training Transfer & Refund Policy

This applies to private lessons and series, group lesson series, clinics and workshops.

Transfer of Payment

If your request is received 8 days or more prior to the start of the training event, you may transfer the amount of your payment toward your registration for one of our training events within the next 12 months.

Refund of Payment

If your request is received 8 days or more prior to the training event, you may receive a refund of your payment minus the non-refundable deposit amount stated in the event price description.  Your deposit may be transferred to your registration for one of our training events in the next 12 months.

We maintain the right to deny refund of your payment for cancellations LESS THAN 8 DAYS prior to the scheduled event. We may consider a partial refund under conditions of hardship.

Camp Transfer & Refund Policy

A $150 non-refundable deposit is required for each participating swimmer to reserve a spot in our swim camp events.

Generally, the final payment, the full balance for the camp, including training fee and lodging fee, is due 30 days before the start day of the camp.

If you need to withdraw from participation…

If your request is received 31 days or more prior to the training event, you may transfer the amount of your payment toward your registration for one of our other swim camps within the next 12 months.

Refund of Payment

If your request is received 31 days or more prior to the training event, you may receive a refund of your payment minus the non-refundable deposit.  Your deposit may be transferred to your registration for one of our training events in the next 12 months.

No Refund

We maintain the right to deny refund of your payment for cancellations LESS THAN 30 DAYS prior to the  start of the camp. We may consider a partial refund under conditions of personal hardship.
